This is my 26th year teaching Health and Physical Education in Washington State.
I earned my Bachelors of Science degree at Washington State University and my
Masters in Education Degree through Leslie College. In 2014, I earned my National
Board Certification
I began my teaching career in Oak Harbor in 1988 and taught at North Whidbey
Junior High for 3 years and Oak Harbor High School for 8 years. I also coached
varsity volleyball as well as jv softball at OHHS. I began teaching at Mt Si High
School in 2001.
My husband Patrick is also a Health & Physical Education teacher at MSHS and
coaches the girls' swim team. We have been married for 16 years and have
2 wonderful daughters, Karlie and Chloe who currently attend middle
school. We enjoy spending time as a family hiking, camping and riding bikes.
